Moroccan nefha with wood ash

A traditional Moroccan homemade nefha, as shown in a video. It makes a fine, dry snuff.

Rustica carries several times the nicotine of ordinary tobacco. Take very small pinches, and stop if you feel sick or dizzy.

Coffee grinderFor turning dried leaf or rolling tobacco into a fine powder.GlovesFor handling alkalis such as sodium carbonate (soda ash), potash and slaked lime.

Notes

The video names no other ingredients and gives no amount of water. Any potassium-rich wood ash should work. Ash is alkaline, so wear gloves and use ash only from clean wood.
