SKëLD - Laxey
SKëLD - Laxey
SKëLD Laxey has a medium grind with high moisture content and fine texture. The blend combines Bright Leaf Virginia and Malawi Burley tobacco, cased with Baron Gaston Legrand Armagnac. Tasting notes include brandy, dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla, honey, and woody notes. The colour is medium brown with scattered golden brown grains.
The aroma is spirit-forward with strong brandy and cognac notes, accompanied by plum, raisin, and grape characteristics. Secondary notes include cocoa, molasses, biscuit, and wood cask elements. Nicotine strength is medium to high, building gradually over successive pinches rather than hitting immediately.

SKëLD - Laxey
This was one of a variety I ordered from overseas, and despite my bank being annoying about the transaction the Mr Snuff team took great care of me. They are my go to from now on, without a doubt. Cleared customs with zero problems as well!
Best since abraxas vanished
Skeld snuff, opinion of a beginner (taking snuff for under 1 month)
Variety: laxey
Moisture and grind (I'm no expert): fine to medium and light moisture
Smell in the pouch: alcohol, strong alcohol scent like a brandy maybe
Smell in the nose: burns, same alcohol scent you get from the pouch. It reminds me of Christmas and the smell you get from a really nice and strongly alcohol infused pudding or just a lovely glass of spirits
Nicotine (I feel it quite easily generally in snuffs just to set the bar): medium
Verdict: I normally go either "I love it", "it's ok" or " I wouldn't take it again". it's ok, I like it.
