Viking Scotch Dark é construído em torno de uma nota tostada, o componente de sabor mais forte, com uma nota amadeirada formando a base. Cítrico e amônia também estão entre as suas notas de sabor, e a nota de amônia aparece logo no início.
É um rapé úmido de granulação média-fina. A base de tabaco é escura e de aspecto grosso, com caráter natural de tabaco e um toque salgado. A mistura não é mentolada, então o perfil se apoia no tabaco e nas notas tostadas e amadeiradas. A força da nicotina é forte.

I can compare this to M&W black Rappee, viking brown, and SG silky dark. All three have very similar scent. Scotch dark is also similar but less intense, less burn, less smokey. Very easy to take and very mild dark tobacco scent. May be for you if the other dark varieties are too strong/smokey. I prefer viking brown.

IMO this is slightly less coarse than taxi. It's much easier to sniff as a result.( For me taxi requires too much force to sniff. This however, is the perfect balance of grind) the flavor is terrific. Very similar to cope in that it is a moist "barnyard" only slightly less salty. I can use this both orally and nasally. So far my fave viking product.
Dark medium coarse and moist tobacco goodness. It is very similar to the old Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Brown which is no longer produced. The taste is woody and tobaccoish. I like it.
