Apri has a fine grind with medium-dry moisture. The primary note is apricot, with toasted, floral, sweet, and natural tobacco as secondary notes. The colour is medium brown. The apricot scent sits above a base tobacco blend with woody characteristics, and the tobacco note is stronger than the apricot when pinched. Nicotine strength is low to medium.

This is a fruit-type snuff, and the fruit scenting here is lighter than in more heavily scented fruit snuffs.

This snuff is modest in its nicotine; several pinches may be needed if you have a Vitamin N tolerance. The moisture content in my tin was very dry with no visible clumping, but some moisture once pinched. The darker brown tobacco has a fine grind and mill that has produced a fine and lightly fluffy presentation. This is not powdered, but leans to the finer milling.

The dry nature, fineish milling, and fluff may be blown off the hand if not careful, and there is no menthol to cut any irritation. APRI by WOS is labelled to be an apricot fruit snuff. From the tin, there is a very mild apricot scent that is held back by a very light 'must'. From this initial hello, a pinch reaffirms the introduction. A "dusty apricot" is what this nose picked up on.

Unlike Summer Harvest, the fruit scent here is much milder in its presentation. The tobacco scent is firmly in front when pinched, with only the faintest touch of apricot sprinkled in. As far as fruit snuffs go, APRI is very middle-of-the-road. The bold scents of Sun Blast, or even WoS RIPPLE, better capture the fruit scent as described. Perhaps my tin was not the best example of this. But as of now, this snuff will be placed away. If you like lightly fruited snuffs, this may be the trick for you; however, this snuffer prefers the more bold formulations found elsewhere.
