McChrystal's Mulled Magic is a perfect equinoctial treat. Remembering fall and winter festivities with the warming aroma of the holidays gives us pause. This sumptuous myrtaceous recipe of well aged sweet tobaccos and spices has given predominance to the cloves with cumin and cinnamon not far behind. Initially, the cooling sensation is overwhelming but gives way to the smooth flavor of fermented leaves. This snuff's burn is camouflaged under an icy blast; the color is mid brown with a nice moist and fluffy grind. And, to boot, the nicotine level is very respectable. Open a tin and feel the flavor.

The long lasting clove flavor is so pleasant. I really love it. I’m still a beginner but feel this will be one of my “go too” snuffs for a long time.

This is my fall time go to for festive cheer. The aroma does last. Which is nice but it can get a little one dimensional. That isn’t a bad thing just how I perceive it. Really worth a shot if you want something different from menthol snuffs.
The cloves are the star of the show here but there is also an undertone of fresh cut firewood and classic leather. This snuff reminds me of Saturday afternoon in the fall, when the sun is shining bright through the windows while the wind outside swirls the fallen leaves. This one would be a great evening fireside snuff while enjoying an Octoberfest brew or hot cider while you ease back into your favorite leather chair.
