Bergamot snuff from cigarillos

Making from scratchscentingBeginner

From boiledonions on the Snuffhouse forum, 2020

About ten dried-out Panter Blue cigarillos, ground into 3.4 g of tobacco flour to make a small bergamot snuff.

Use bergapten-free bergamot oil, sold as FCF. Ordinary bergamot oil contains bergapten, which can make skin burn in sunlight.

Method

Rest time

At least two days. It was still mellowing after that.

Tasting notes

A coarse grind, close to Thrice Brewed. In the tin the bergamot is strong without taking over, but the first pinch was mostly barnyard, with a fair nicotine kick.

Notes

One drop of bergamot is plenty: two comes out strong. The grinding takes some work for such a small yield.
