Making from scratchbase blendBeginner

From volunge on the Snuffhouse forum, 2021

A plain snuff made from a pouch of roll-your-own tobacco, such as Pöschl Pueblo. These amounts make 10 g of fine-to-medium, medium-moist snuff.

None needed. You can use it straight away, and it rounds out overnight.

Notes

You'll want scales that read to 0.1 g. If you don't have a fine sieve, scrape off the dust that collects inside the coffee grinder's lid, which is the finest part of the grind. For a coarse, moister snuff, sift through a tea strainer instead, raise the water to about 35% of the batch's weight and leave out the bicarbonate. Dissolve the sodium carbonate in the water first, then add 2 to 6% plain salt to taste. Coarse snuff gets better over a few days or weeks. Sodium carbonate is an irritant, so keep it off your skin and out of your eyes.
