This blend gives a decent amount of Vitamin N when used from time to time. It's a nice way to clear your sinuses, whether you use it in the morning or before going to sleep. Medicated No. 66 really boosts the menthol, eucalyptus, and camphor. You get a strong rush of cool menthol that blends and fades into a lasting cooling feeling in your nose. The menthol stands out, and the mix of cooling agents keeps the sensation going. In the background, I notice hints of sandalwood and a bit of earthy pepper, like turmeric.
There's plenty of moisture in this blend, which makes it easier to use. You can see the moisture in the plastic tin, and there are some clumps in the darker tobacco. The tobacco colour is a uniform dark brown mocha. The medium-fine grind is easy to pinch, but the plastic 8-gram tin can be tricky to use and doesn't fit well in your pocket. The moisture helps the snuff stay put, whether you use your hand or take it straight to your nose. This snuff is easy to hold in the pinch, but the high ratios of cooling agents, bold nicotine content, and sinus-clearing properties can make this hard to enjoy. The moisture content is great, but the fine grind can leave you regretting a sniff that is too hard.
