Poschl - JBR - Black
Pöschl JBR Black has a medium grind with moderate moisture and a rust-brown to dark brown colour. The snuff is anise-forward with strong liquorice notes, accompanied by menthol, vanilla, and cherry. Secondary notes include camphor, eucalyptus, and cola.
The menthol component is moderate compared to other mentholated snuffs, allowing the anise and liquorice notes to remain the primary aromatics. Nicotone strength is low to medium. The texture is light and fluffy with minimal residue.

This was an impulse buy at a German tobacco shop and I was quite pleasantly surprised. Not as mentholated as other Poschl snuffs which makes it easier to take for me, who is not a huge menthol fan. It's probably most akin to Lowen Prise, although that is more aniseed, whereas this is straight up liquorice. That makes it not for everyone but I quite enjoy it. I must say I mostly struggle to pick up the vanilla notes.
A good one to have on the go when I don't have time to savour something special.
