Snubie World Tour - Port Royal Rum has a fine grind with medium moisture, built on a dark tobacco base. The aroma opens on fruit and chocolate before shifting to rum and vanilla, with cherry and hazelnut as secondary notes. The colour is medium to dark brown. Nicotine is low to medium.

The scenting is heavy, and rum and chocolate are the strongest elements in the flavour profile, giving it a sweet, dessert-leaning character over a background tobacco note.

This snuff provides a light to moderate amount of vitamin N. The moisture content is sufficient with only minor clumping in the tin. Finely milled with a slightly fluffy cut, the light-mocha brown tobacco presents an intermediate challenge — the relatively fine grind can be hard to place in the nose without a careful sniff.

Port Royal Rum bursts from the tin with a banner of chocolate and dark rum sweet, smooth, and unmistakably rich. The initial aroma blends these two profiles so entirely that it gives the impression of a chocolate liqueur. Unlike McChrystal's Aztec, which leans more toward raw cocoa, this leans into confectionery territory. In fact, the closest match on the American palate might just be a Tootsie Roll.

Once placed in the nose, the chocolate and rum hold court, with the chocolate edge rising just above. The rum adds a warmth and smoothness, but doesn't linger long. The fine grind, while flavourful, does make for a less forgiving pinch, better suited for careful dosing than casual hits from the anatomical box. As the top notes taper, what remains is a soft, lingering sweetness, and just a whisper of tobacco in the background, enough to remind you this is still a snuff and not a dessert.

If you have a sweet tooth and appreciate candy-like blends, Port Royal Rum is a worthy addition to your rotation. But if artificial chocolate isn't your thing, or if you prefer your snuffs dry, earthy, or mentholated, this might be one to admire from afar.
